THE BIBLE
The bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and our final authority in matters of faith and life.
THE TRINITY
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Is. 45:21-22; Jer. 10:10; Gen. 1:26; Matt. 28:19; John 14:16; I John 5:7)
THE FATHER
God the Father is perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, measureless in power. We rejoice that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through Jesus Christ. (Heb. 11:6; John 14:13; 3:16; Lev. 11:44-45)
THE SON
Jesus Christ, is God incarnate, existing with God always and come to earth through a virgin birth. He lived, died and rose again to redeem the relationship between God and man. We believe He now intercedes for believers and will return to earth in glory. (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-25; Luke 1:26-38; 2:1-7; John 1:1; Gal. 4:4; I Tim. 2:5)
THE HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit is is working in this age to convict the lost, regenerate, indwell, and fill the believers. He baptizes believers into the body of Christ at conversion, empowers them to live the victorious life, equips them to serve in His ministry, seals them eternally and always glorifies Jesus Christ. (John 16:7-11; 14:16-17 & 26; 15:13-14; Acts 1:8; Gal. 5:22-23; Eph. 5:18-20; I Cor. 12:11-13)
SATAN
We believe in the existence of Satan, the prince of power of the air, god of this world, who is the enemy of God and all that pertains to God including the church. He is a created being (an angel) who left his first estate and was cast out of heaven by God. His final end will come when he is cast into the lake of fire. (Eph. 2:2; II Cor. 4:4; 11:13-15; Ezek. 28:1-19; Job 2:1-2; 1 Peter 5:8)
MAN
Man is created in God’s image, have sinned and are separated from God, and are saved by the grace of God by trusting in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. ( Gen 1:27; 2:7; 16-17; Gen. 3; Rom. 5:12-19; 6:23)
SALVATION
We believe in the vicarious death of the Lord Jesus Christ as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. (I Peter 1:18-19; 2:24; Acts 16:31; Eph. 1:7; 2:13; I John 1:7; Rev. 1:5; 12:11)
THE CHURCH
The Church is God’s representative on earth, expressed in local gatherings which serve to witness of Jesus Christ and His good news.
ALL BELIEVERS
All believers are ministers and act as ambassadors of Jesus Christ in the world and as ministers to each other for the building up of the church.
WATER BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER
Water baptism and the Lord’s supper are practices of obedience for those who confess Christ the Lord.
THE FUTURE
In the future, all who lived will rise again. Those who trust in Christ will live with Him forever, while those who do not will be condemned to eternal punishment.
