Michael and Dawna Jaffarian
Assignments: Michael is a missions researcher. His research helps mission agencies and churches be more strategic about missions. Dawna trains MKs, helping them go back and forth between cultures.
History: Appointed July 1983, they spent time in India and Singapore before being assigned to missions research.
Interesting facts: Michael carries customized tracts. People ask about his Hard Rock Café pin. In response he gives them the tracts that explain his inter- est in that restaurant plus his gospel concerns. Also Michael tells us that missionaries in hot, humid climates love Tupperware.
Prayer: Michael just helped finish the latest update to Operation World, a very exhausting project. Pray that many will use the book to pray informed prayers about God’s work in this world. Also please pray for Dawna, who is recovering from a broken foot. Also pray that God uses them in partnership with Tom Ward and family in reaching Muslims in the London area where they live.
